About Us
My name is Amy and I am the creator of The Minnesota Marshmallow!
S'mores have always been one of
my favorite things to look forward to when I'm around a bonfire with family and friends. Making memories
with everyone and enjoying a toasty marshmallow on a cold night and laughing at all of our sticky fingers
are the nights I am always looking forward to.
How we Started...
During the year 2020, everyone got to spend a lot more time outdoors! One summer night, I had a
thought, "We should have a Juicy Lucy marshmallow! The kind where all the chocolate and good stuff is on the inside and that way it can all get heated up with the marshmallow!"
Despite my love for the original
s'mores, I was quite bored with the vanilla marshmallows. I decided it was time for a change! I jumped in the
kitchen and gave it a whirl! In four short weeks, I had created over 10 different flavors and many of my
friends and coworkers encouraged me to start a fun small business.
Thanks to their encouragement and
support, I gave it a try! I fell in love with creating exciting new flavors and seeing the reactions on people's
faces when they tried them! In no time at all, my "fun side business" grew into a second full-time job in
only a couple of months! I had so many requests for bags of marshmallows I could barely keep up!
Ten months into my new adventure also known as my “fun side job”, I decided to take a leap of faith and
chase my dream for a while and see where it could
take me!
I have been serving in the Air Force since
2009 and still plan on completing my goal of serving
for 20 years.
However, I plan on doing that and
chasing my dream to someday see my product on shelves across the United States!
My handsome husband Michael and I just got married and brought a beautiful baby boy into this world! His
name is Ryder Mac and we enjoy running this business as a family!
The great thing about marshmallows is
that you can enjoy them year-round! You can roast them over a fire, in hot cocoa or coffee, dunk them in
fondue, or create other delicious treats like rice krispie bars! We currently have over 70 flavors and look
forward to creating more that we can rotate throughout the year!
